Volkswagen
Consultant
Created a proprietary data model using R to help Volkswagen improve its car delivery system, while also reducing its carbon footprint. This project was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of my life, as I got to work directly with an international company and see how my solution positively impacted their operations.

Worked with several East African startups to develop and scale their business models, and have helped them secure funding through venture capital and angel investors. My recommendations have allowed them to more effectively scale nationally and regionally, which is projected to yield a 25x increase in their user base over 10 years.
Vanda Pharmaceuticals

By working with their Operations team, I proposed methods for Vanda to streamline their internal processes using code and macros. Further, I worked with their Benefits team to increase efficiency when conducting patient, provider, and insurance calls using lean thinking.

Worked with the Director of the Office of Development Results and Accountability to restructure changes in the China loan policies. I identified inconsistencies between previous and current policies, compared them to World Bank standards, and developed a risk matrix to then propose a new policy.

Spearheaded their ambassador program, where I had to work with individuals around the country to get the word out about our new product. After we successfully raised over $300,000 on Kickstarter, I conducted consumer research to better understand the trends and wants of our target market.

Combining our love for dogs and health, my team worked with veterinarians, biochemists, and professors to develop an easier platform for medicine delivery. After creating the concept, I developed the brand identity, website, and merchandise mix. At the end of the semester my team and I competed in Terp Tank, an entrepreneurship competition on campus, and received first place.

Emergency Meal Fund

After a study concluded 8,000 students at my university are food insecure, I worked with student government and university administration to create the EMF - a $7,500 fund that has since provided over 1,660 meals over the past two years to students who are food insecure.
Accessibility Report
Project Leader
As a result of the lack of accessibility at my university, I created a task force of students to develop the university's first Campus Accessibility Report. I subsequently worked with campus departments to remediate the outlined issues, such as increasing web accessibility, repaving sidewalks, and creating accessible bathrooms.
